to move data between different locations or archive platforms (e.g.
following a re-location, merger or acquisition), TransVault ensures
archived data remains seamlessly accessible to end users and to the
business, whilst maintaining full chain-of-custody.
Migration is fast (over 1TB of data a day) and entirely
transparent to users (TransVault also migrates shortcuts), eliminating
the risk of downtime and significantly reducing the costs, IT overheads
and user impact normally associated with moving large amounts of data.

‘islands of data’, allowing the lifecycle of information to be centrally
managed and any e-discovery requests to be conducted against a single

Architecture
How it Works
Implemented using the Microsoft .NET framework and provided as a multi-threaded Windows-based
service, TransVault supports simultaneous archive migration tasks hosted across multiple servers,
enabling mass, high-speed migrations.
A series of different connectors enable it to move data sets from one format to another, with
the ability to perform on-the-fly, high-fidelity data conversions, address re-writing and
logging to ensure complete viability for migrated items in the new environment.
