The Permanent Storage Appliance (PSA) is an affordable,
easy-to-use, hybrid storage solution for dedicated Windows®
environments. It is a fully integrated appliance that includes
all the components you need for storing persistent data easily
and cost-effectively.
Powerful storage management software lets you combine
multiple media libraries into a single, large volume.
Policy-based management controls the migration of data between
the media libraries and high performance cache, and advanced
features such as immutability (WORM) and media/library
replication ensure data integrity and availability.
Systems scale from 4TB to 120TB and hot-swappable, redundant
components deliver high availability, increased reliability, and
field serviceability. For seamless integration into existing
infrastructures, the PSA is powered by Microsoft® Windows®
Storage Server 2003.

The PSA also delivers key hybrid features including high
availability, standard access protocols and media types, industry
leading energy efficiency, unparalleled longevity, and flexible data
protection.
The Permanent Storage Appliance is easy-to-install, non-disruptive,
and comes with all of the components required for storing high-value
